Late May to July: a fashion show and the pre-opening
On 28 May the park hosted the MACH 33 physical AI fashion show. ZDNet Korea reported that ten robots and ten outfits were presented, with a robot kickboxing contest as a side event.
On 3 July 2026 Seoul Shinmun reported that pre-opening bookings were continuing ahead of the grand opening. It described K-pop robot group dances and robot boxing in the Robot Arena, along with hugging robots, robot dogs and drawing robots, and gave the target of four or more shows a day and more than 1,000 a year after the official opening.
On 8 July The Korea Times reported that about 8,000 people had booked during the initial July booking window and that every July weekend show had sold out. The official opening these July reports anticipated was in September.

21 August: the official opening
Galaxy Robot Park's official opening date is 21 August 2026. Asia Economy's report on the day noted 20,000 cumulative pre-opening visitors, sold-out advance sessions and 17 new robot types.
Digital Chosun reported the same day that food and drink outlets — a restaurant, bakery, café and ice-cream shop — opened alongside. This is the point at which a space built around shows and hands-on sessions began operating as a permanent venue with food and drink.
After the opening: robots added in September
The robot line-up kept changing after the opening. AI Times reported on 4 September 2026 that XYZ had supplied its Barisbrew robot barista to the park's Aurora Cafe, and Money Today reported on 15 September that IL had supplied its next-generation humanoid, ILBOT H2.
