Events Held at Galaxy Robot Park, May to September 2026
Six events held at Galaxy Robot Park from May to September 2026, from a Children's Day invitation to actor Jung Il-woo's sharing day, in date order.
Key takeawayGalaxy Robot Park hosted an invitation event for about 100 children on 5 May 2026, an official opening and vision ceremony in the Robot Arena on 15 May, the MACH 33 physical AI fashion show on 28 May, the FKI Youth Bridge programme for about 50 out-of-school young people on 19 August, the official opening ceremony and press conference on 21 August, and actor Jung Il-woo's sharing event for 99 guests, including artists with developmental disabilities, on 10 September. Three of these were social programmes inviting children, young people and artists with developmental disabilities.
May: first opening, ceremony and fashion show
On Children's Day, 5 May, an opening event was held for about 100 invited children. According to the Korea Economic Daily, 70 of them were from single-parent families or children with borderline intellectual functioning.
On 15 May the Robot Arena hosted an official opening and vision ceremony. ZDNet Korea reported a six-song performance by humanoid robots, robot boxing, robot portraits and a mirroring demonstration in which a robot is controlled by following a person's movements.
On 28 May the park held "MACH 33: Physical AI Fashion Show". According to ZDNet Korea, ten robots and ten outfits took to the runway, with a robot kickboxing contest as a side event.

August: two days before the opening, and opening day
On 19 August the park hosted a special industry programme of the Federation of Korean Industries under its Youth Bridge initiative. According to Etoday, about 50 young people from out-of-school youth support centres and their case managers watched a humanoid performance, tried out robots and received career mentoring on the enter-tech industry.
On 21 August the official opening ceremony and press conference took place. Asia Economy reported 20,000 cumulative pre-opening visitors and 17 new robot types, and the Seoul Economic Daily reported that the Soulware robot OS and the plan for a second park in Dubai were announced at the same press conference. According to the company's facts, the ceremony's theme was "From Code to Soul".

September: a sharing day hosted by an artist
On 10 September actor Jung Il-woo marked his birthday and 20th debut anniversary by inviting 99 guests — artists from THISABLED, an agency for artists with developmental disabilities, their families and staff. According to Venture Square, the guests tried robot and AI content together, and his agency Galaxy Corporation provided lunch.
At the event Galaxy Corporation and Jung said they were considering support for exhibition space and creative opportunities for artists with developmental disabilities. No dates or venue have been set.
What the events show about how the space is used
Side by side, the six events show the park being used in three ways: as a stage on which the company presents its business, as with the runway and press conference; as a place of learning, as with the youth career mentoring; and as a gathering space where specific groups are invited to experience it together, as with the Children's Day and sharing events.
The events of 5 May, 19 August and 10 September invited children, out-of-school young people and artists with developmental disabilities respectively. The hosts differed — the company, a business federation and one of its actors — but watching a show and trying out robots were common to all three programmes.

Invitation events versus general admission
Most of the events in this article were for invited guests. Their programmes should not be treated as the general visitor programme or the regular show schedule.
How to arrange group visits or corporate events, and whether the venue can be hired, are not covered in published reports. Events held outside the park — the UN AI summit in Geneva in July and the New York performances in September — are covered in a separate article.
